How to make a year-in-review scroll in Signet
Open the Year page and unroll the year as a long vertical image made only of the moments you stamped. It works any time once the current year has at least one moment; in version 1.4.2 we found no entry for earlier years.
Year-end summaries that apps write for you are guesses. This one is made of the moments you chose to stamp.
The Year page
Open the Year tab. Twelve seals, one per month, light up as you keep moments in that month. For an empty month, the page offers to add a moment for it, so you can fill in a month after the fact.
Unroll the scroll
- Open the Year page. The scroll is available whenever you have at least one moment this year.
- Tap to unroll the scroll. Signet mounts your year as one long vertical image.
- Save or share it. You can save the image to Photos or share it.
Not only at year end
You can unroll the current year's scroll at any time of year. In version 1.4.2 the current year's scroll is opened from the Year page, and we did not find a separate entry point for earlier years.
Backfilling old memories
When you add a moment for an empty month, Signet suggests photos taken in that month or solar term from your library, which makes catching up easier.
Cost
The scroll is free.
